Our epiphytic Orchids grow in pots in our collections for our convenience. In nature they attach their root system to a natural substrate and obtain moisture and nutrients from their surrounding environment. Until now if we wanted to be realistic we could train them onto a piece of cork, mount them on a branch of a tree or place them in a wooden Vanda Basket. In this contemporary age we now have a forth option. Most of our plants are no longer Species as found in nature, and now the Orchid Mount to grow them on is also a hybrid in a modern, functional configuration. This is a flat Orchid Mount that can be suspended horizontally or vertically or hung from one corner. The advantage is that the plants get more air circulation through the root system and more surface area for water and fertilizer contact. These Flat Orchid Mounts are constructed of Honduranian woods.
