The Bac Pac is filled with Tri-Chlor specially compressed tablets that can be inserted into the Frog cycler system. You simply pull the red end caps off the container and insert it inside the Frog cycler. With the adjustable flow valve on the cycler you can adjust the flow of the mineral pac and the Bac Pac into the pool that works for you. This is dependent on the amount of time your filter is run. If your filter runs 24/7 you will adjust the feed rate way down. Conversely, if you run your filter 4-8 hours a day, you will adjust the feed rate higher so as to input enough silver and chlorine into the pool. The Bac Pac will last you between 3 to 4 weeks in most pools
