From a well known El Salvador knife maker that proudly traces its history back centuries to Solingen, Germany come these highly functional and solidly made machetes and bush knives derived from the native working tools of Central America. Made of 420HC stainless steel, with high impact polypropylene handles molded directly to the full tang. These are no-nonsense workman?s blades that will perform just as well in Maine or California as they do in warmer climes. The 20? Straight-Back Classic Machete features a sand blasted satin finished saber-like blade that is gracefully shaped to 2-3/8? at its widest. An overall length of 25-1/4? while weighing only 18 oz. makes the Classic a deceptively light and well balanced tool. The 16? Hog Sticker has a black oxide finished blade that is less than 2? at its widest point and weighs only 13 oz. (yet we have no doubt it would live up to its name in the event you encounter a wild boar). Notwithstanding its somewhat crude name, it would be our choice for a long day of clearing close, dense brush. The 9? Tactical Multi is part Trailing-Point Skinner and part Double-Edged Cleaver, with a very useful Gut Hook along the top beveled edge. It has a non-slip, cushion-grip, and rubber-reinforced handle, and a black oxide finished blade for superior corrosion resistance. Designed for hunters and survival rescue professionals, we think it makes an excellent all-purpose tool for trail and campsite. Weighs 11.5 oz.Each tool comes with a hand crafted welted black leather sheath with a swiveling belt loop for easy travel. Heavy duty and beautiful, the leather work is as handsome as the knife making. NOTE: Up to 40% off. Liquidation prices. Our stock is limited - when they're gone, that's it.
