Additionally, the lopper comes with built-in neoprene ShockStop shock bumpers for added comfort, making it an ideal choice for personal or professional use.
Corona's professional heavy-duty bypass lopper seems to be the Cadillac of loppers. A comfortable 30 inches long, with tapered hickory handles, the lopper has blister-deterring nonslip grips. The forged Radial Arc bypass blade has a 2-1/4-inch-diameter cutting capacity. The lopper also boasts a slant-ground hook with a self-cleaning sap groove for consistently smooth cutting. We have to admit, however, that we're really wowed by the neoprene ShockStop shock bumpers. Side by side with other bumpers we've tested, the ShockStop shock bumpers prove to be distinctly superior in effectiveness and durability. This is the midsize version of the heavy-duty bypass lopper; it is also available in 36- and 26-inch models.
